How To Use The Law of Attraction For Success In Life
The Law of Attraction is an energetic law of our universe that will either bring your dreams to you, or push them far away. There is a constant magnetic attraction between the outcome that you want or don’t want. This attraction depends on what frequency that you are emitting to the universe. You create your reality through the thoughts that you think. Whether you realize it or not, the universe is constantly responding to the energy of your thoughts.
If our thoughts are constantly creating our reality, then it is important that we learn how to control them. When we do this, we can choose what we want the universe to send us.
How Does The Law of Attraction Work?
Okay, so the Law of Attraction works in strange ways. Whether you believe that the universe is responding to your thoughts based on the energy that you transmit to it, or not – the Law of Attraction is at work within your life thanks to science.
Through science, we have seen that our brains have a “thermostat” that controls what we get in our lives. This brain thermostat is programmed via repetitive thinking and/or action. This vital part of our brain is called the Reticular Activating System, or for short you can just call it the RAS.
This is where the absolute power of the Law of Attraction resides.
The RAS takes in information from your outside world and filters close to 8 million bits of information so that you can see what is important to you. This is available to us through our brain so that we can focus on our wants and desires.
We need to be careful though because it also works when we fear something as well. That is why we sometimes attract our worst fears after worrying about them for a long time.
Feelings Are Magnetic Energy
If our thoughts create our outcomes, then how do our feelings fit into the picture of how the Law of Attraction works?
Our emotional feelings are awesome because they are like a boost to getting what we want. This is how some people manifest desires in their lives faster than others. Our emotional feelings literally supercharge our results.
Apply positive feelings towards your goals and they will come faster than they would without. Put forth strong negative feelings towards what you don’t want, and you will surely attract those much quicker as well. It works both ways.
When we apply positive or negative thoughts towards our wants or fears, we are simply programming the RAS within our brain to see that outcome. This is why we can speed up the Law of Attraction process by attaching emotional energy to what we visualize.
Attracting What You Want In Life
Now that you have a basic understanding of how the Law of Attraction works, you can put it into practice within your life.
Below is a generalized outline of how to use this power.
According to the popular movie The Secret, the Law of Attraction is compromised of a 3 step process:
- Ask. The first step is to ask ourselves and the universe for what we wants. This is where we decide on something that we would like to bring about or achieve. Most of us do this on a regular basis without any hard work since we all know (for the most part) what we would like to attract and what we wouldn’t like to attract.
- Believe. The second step is to believe that what you want is going to show up in your life. My secret to this step is through the power of meditation and visualization. To put it in simple terms, you can attach emotional feelings of positivity to your visualization. This will help you to attract your desires faster.
- Receive. The third step (and my favorite part) is to receive that in which you want in life. In order to do this, we must learn to allow what we want into our lives. When we are open to accepting our desires, the opportunities will show up and we will act upon them. This is the receiving phase of the process.
Putting The Law of Attraction To Work In Your Life
There is a whole world of knowledge out there about the Law of Attraction, and this post just touches the surface. Deeper aspects exist for each step and there are more subtle aspects as well which can influence your outcomes.
My #1 tip for getting started is to be open to the unlimited possibilities of our universe and live from love and an open heart.
Try to clear out negativity from your mind as often as possible, and replace it with positive thoughts and feelings towards what you do want.
