The Huge Issue That Will Keep Your From Success
Why is it that sometimes we have massive success in one area of life, but a lack thereof in another aspect?
What can we do to make sure that we always achieve what we want when it comes to our goals and dreams?
Even if we slave away our time working our butts off to make things happen, why does success sometimes continue to elude us?
Well, it really isn’t that shocking. Most likely, if you are putting forth the effort and nothing is happening, it is due to one simple actionable item that has not been completed yet: You need to get clear on your goal in order to find the success that you desire.
It is the harsh truth, but it is better to know this than to continue onward without defining what you want.
Your Success: What Does It Look Like?
Let’s take an example that deals with wealth, since it is something that is on a lot of people’s minds. Perhaps, you are trying to accumulate more money into your life so that you can afford the lifestyle that you would like to live. Most people end right there and don’t go forward any further with defining their dream life. This is a huge mistake, and it will cost you your time in the long run. It is so important, more than I can tell you, to define your goals as clearly as possible.
Instead of saying “I want more money so that I can live the lifestyle that I want to”, try saying some more along the lines of “I’d love to make at leasy $1000/week so that I can have more financial freedom to put towards my savings, entertainment, and family.”
Do you see how much more inspiring that sounds and defined? It sounds so simple, but most people tend to leave out the details of the goal that they want.
Creating The Details Of Your Goal
I urge you to go all out here and define your goals creatively in ways that you may not have thought of before now.
One of the best ways to empower your goals is to seriously write them down on pen and paper instead of just always thinking about them in your head. I am not kidding, there is something super crazy and magical that happens when you write down goals in detail. Don’t just write down your goal, but write it down as if you are already achieving them. Go into detail about as many aspects that you possibly can.
After doing an exercise like this, it leaves you feeling motivated, powerful, and ready to take inspired action which is the real secret ingredient to boosting your chances for success. When you are inspired, you are on the right track. When you write down your goals, as if they have already occurred, your brain starts doing everything and anything possible to help you attract them into your life.
…and what is the best part of all of this?
The process is fun and takes under 10 minutes to do.
So, I urge you now – go grab that pen and paper so that you can start writing!
