So here is what we know about self esteem so far:
- Your self esteem level is affected by your surroundings
- Not everyone wants you to have a high level of self esteem
- Anxiety and other events in life can have a huge impact on your level of confidence

With this preliminary information in mind, we can now dive in to the tactics that will help you increase your level of self-worth and confidence.
Tactic #1 – Digging Deep
Sometimes we just don’t make enough time to realize why our self esteem is low during a particular phase of life. A simple observation of where your life is currently and how you got there can be a huge revelation.
For example, let’s say that you went through a nasty divorce one year ago and today you are having self esteem issues. Due to the fact that these issues are so prevalent in your state of being, you may not even take notice that the divorce is subconsciously what has been causing you confidence problems all along. Take a good look at the past few years (or even your entire life) and look for clues on what could be causing your self esteem issues.
This may be all it takes, but you may also need a belief replacement.
Tactic #2 – Crush Those Limiting Beliefs
Alright, so maybe things have happened in the past that are causing you to feel down in the dumps about your appearance, capabilities, and what you can achieve for yourself. We need to stop that as soon as possible, and I mean that. The longer that you stay in this mindset, the harder that it will be for you to come out of it. We need to crush those limiting beliefs and replace them with something more productive.
We prefer the opposition method which allows you to get that limiting belief out and turn it around immediately.
Here is how it works:
- State the limiting belief that you have: “I am not capable of achieving highly because I am not smart enough like some other people.”
- CRUSH THE LIMITING BELIEF: Tell yourself that that belief does not serve you in any way and you are going to destroy it immediately.
- Restate the belief in opposition to what you stated before: “I am capable of achieving highly because I am smart and can do anything!”
That is it. This technique can be hugely successful!
Other Self Esteem Building Tactics
Working on your personal image, reinventing yourself, and talking highly of yourself in the mirror are some other great ways to refresh and boost your self esteem.
When confidence levels get low, it usually means that you should make time to realize how capable you are of high success in any given moment. We all have the same 24 hours in a day and it is just up to you as to how you want to use them.
